Lemon & Honey Internships

We offer internship opportunities to young people seeking to gain meaningful work experience in the charity sector.

What and when?

Our internships are designed to support young people to gain first-hand experience in fundraising and comms. We work with our interns to devise a programme of work and learning to ensure we fit their skills to our current projects, support them in learning new skills and ensure that we are offering our interns exposure to areas of work in which they would like to learn more.

Our internships can be part or full time and of duration to suit the intern and fit around other work commitments they may have.

Because we work with multiple clients, we are able to offer a diverse range of experiences and support a developing CV. Our last two interns went on to gain permanent jobs as a result of the direct work experience with Lemon & Honey.

Who is this for?

We are able to accept interns over the age of 18 who want to explore whether the charity sector is for them. We expect our interns to have a good grasp of written and spoken English, be confident learning new software applications and be genuinely keen to learn.

Our interns can either work remotely or a combination of remote and office working (when Covid-19 restrictions lift) at our office in Whitstable.

How do I apply?

In the first instance please email a CV and introduction to yourself to hello@lemonandhoney.co.uk.  We respond to all enquiries but please note we only have capacity for up to 2 interns at any one time.
